36 Weeks and Sick :(

This week has been a challenge! I have been dealing with an insane cold and had to go to labor and delivery because I just have been feeling so sick. I am not having contractions of any kind or anything like that, but I definitely have a fever, my throat is pretty much closed, and my nose is stuffed to the max. We originally went in to the emergency room at the hospital so I could just get looked at because I felt so sick, but they sent me up to labor and delivery because I am 36 weeks pregnant.

In labor and delivery, they honestly did not do much for my sickness at all. They monitored little man (and he was perfectly fine) and then told me to just try some throat lozenges, a netty-pot to flush out my nose, and that was about it. I cannot really take any cold medication since I am pregnant and I have been really lenient on taking medicine during my pregnancy anyways unless I really need it. So I went to rite-aid and bought a netty pot (it scared the ever living lights out of me to use it and was totally disgusting but worked amazing) and a vick's vapor rub steam inhaler that you essential just put your mouth and nose on and it blows hot steam to clear your sinuses (it works amazing, I don't know how it existed before to be honest).

In other news besides me being a sick little bean (lol), I am 36 weeks pregnant and will officially be full term next week! I cannot believe that we are so close to being full term and I am so incredibly excited that we have only a month until my due date. Starting next Tuesday (December 12th), baby Noah can essentially come at any point he wants to and I am SO excited to meet my little man! We love him so much already and I just want him to be here already so we can love him, snuggle him, and lather him in kisses!
