3D Ultrasound of Noah!

We did the most EXCITING thing today! I have been wanting to do a 3D ultrasound for literally my entire pregnancy and I heard through the grapevine (and by that I mean by multiple google searches) I have learned that the best time to do one is between 30-32 weeks of pregnancy. So, I figured doing it at 31 weeks was perfect timing!

With my baby shower being tomorrow, a lot of special family members were going to be here so I decided to make it a special day for them too and invite a few to come and see the ultrasound too! It was such an exciting time, and Noah was very much just pressing up against my placenta and it looked like he was kissing it, which was completely adorable. Other than that, since he kept placing his face up against my placenta it was making it harder to get a clear picture of him, but that's okay because everybody in the room was crying and so excited to just see him and hear his cute little heartbeat (which melts my heart every single time I hear it at our doctors appointments).

Towards the end of the appointment, the tech was trying to just get some last minute shots of our sweet boy and it totally felt like he completely knew we were looking at him because at the end of the ultrasound he flashed us this handsome little smile and the entire room was laughing, crying, and going "oh my gosh, did you see that smile?! He's smiling at us!". It was the cutest thing ever and I just couldn't contain the joy that was coming over me and definitely got emotional.

It was an amazing time and I can't believe that we only have about two months until my due date and until we get to meet this handsome boy and I get to hold him in my arms and witness that smile for real! It is so exciting and I just can't wait to have him here with us! Counting down the days!!
